Sandra William is a professionally-certified coach, people strategy consultant, and former Bain & Company manager, with nearly a decade of experience advising individuals in Fortune 500 companies, government entities, sovereign wealth funds, and business leaders across North America and the Middle East. Her work has spanned corporate strategy, organizational transformation, governance, talent development, and leadership effectiveness, helping organizations and professionals navigate growth, change, and complex strategic challenges.
While at Bain & Company, Sandra worked across the firm’s Dubai, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. offices, leading initiatives in corporate strategy and organizational development for clients across multiple industries, including education, retail, energy, industrials, and technology. She also served on Bain & Global Professional Development team, where she collaborated with colleagues across regions, including a team from the Far East, to design and deliver leadership and capability-building programs for consultants at various stages of their careers, including new hires, while contributing to the development of future leaders within the firm.
Most recently, Sandra founded and runs DAO Leadership, a professional coaching and people strategy consulting firm focused on helping high-achieving professionals at all levels, including entrepreneurs and executives, to grow their impact while staying aligned with their values and sense of purpose. As a frequent keynote speaker and workshop facilitator, Sandra has delivered leadership and professional development programs to diverse international teams across North America and the Middle East. Her thought leadership has been featured in Forbes, where she contributed to discussions on the evolving role of human skills in the modern workplace.
A self-described international expat, Sandra was raised across multiple countries and has lived, worked, and studied throughout the Middle East and the United States. Having traveled to more than 40 countries, Sandra brings a global perspective and deep appreciation for cultural diversity to her work with individuals and organizations. Not only were some of Sandra’s initial clients Chinese, but she also continues to support individuals from similar backgrounds.
Sandra holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The American University in Cairo. Additionally, she is an ACC-certified coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), an Energy Leadership Index™ Master Practitioner (ELI-MP), and an iPEC Certified Professional Coach.
