As a recent TEDx speaker, Amy-Louise has coached 350+ candidates since joining Mandarin Consulting in 2015 as a coach. While leading the MCI US Coaching team and overseeing US Program Management since 2016, Amy-Louise also writes the “Insights from Head of Coaching” blog on the MCI US Website, featuring 360+ thought leadership articles to date.

Prior to her roles at MCI, Amy-Louise coached university students at 3 NYC-area career centers, including Barnard College (Columbia University) and New York University, during which time she advised 1,000+ international students entering a wide range of professions. Since 2001, Amy-Louise has also independently coached several hundred private clients across diverse careers, in multiple industries and at all levels.

As an executive search consultant in a boutique search firm for 15+ years, and as the Global HR Practice leader for most of that time, Amy-Louise placed 210+ executives in major firms including American Express, Citi, PwC, KPMG, Pfizer and Cadbury-Schweppes. Through leveraging additional consultative sales and a product marketing background, Amy-Louise also previously conducted advertising research for blue-chip clients including IBM, Coca-Cola, Kraft General Foods, and Kimberly-Clark, worked in brand management on the Suave brands (now owned by Unilever) and served as a Market Planner at Motorola Solutions.

Following a degree in French Language and Literature cum laude from the University of California, San Diego (including completing her Junior year in Bordeaux, France), Amy-Louise earned an MBA in Marketing and Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Amy-Louise speaks conversational Spanish. Guided by her passion for human development and coaching, she also earned a Leadership Coaching certificate from iCoachGlobal at Baruch College.
